Martinez

Said to be the precursor to the Martini, this gin-spin on a Manhattan is a gorgeous classic.

Ingredients

• 2 parts Ludlow Gin – your choice (We love Navy Strength)
• 1 part Red vermouth
• ½ part Maraschino liqueur
• 2 dash Angostura Bitters
• Orange twist to garnish

Method

Stir all the ingredients with ice in a mixing glass. Strain into a martini or coupe glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
