Soixante Quinze, simply ’75’. Dating from the early 20th century at the New York Bar in Paris. The cocktail was said to have such a kick that it felt like being shelled by the most powerful French 75mm field gun!
Ingredients
- 1 part Ludlow Gin – your choice (We love No.5)
- 1 part Triplecello
- Chilled sparkling wine
Method
Fill a shaker with ice and add your gin and Triplecello. Shake and strain into a Champagne flute, then top up with sparkling wine. Garnish with a lemon twist.
